  • It also enriches the soil with respect to nitrogen by nodules forming in its root and by fixing free nitrogen in the air. It reduces the use of nitrogenous fertilizer. It is a good rotation plant with this characteristic. In addition to this, the deep root system moves the nutrients in the depths to the soil surface.
  • It is generally recommended to sow in a mixture with grains such as Wheat, Barley, Triticale.
  • It develops better in cool and moist areas.
